Read news in English with The Copenhagen Post at Ballerup Libraries
At Ballerup Libraries, you can enjoy full access to The Copenhagen Post — Denmark’s leading English-language newspaper and online news source.
Af Nina Horn Jensen

In addition to publishing the country’s only regularly printed newspaper in English, The Copenhagen Post offers continuously updated online news and daily newsletters about life in Denmark. The publication covers Danish politics, business, culture, and society, and it aims to engage the international community — including expats, diplomats, students, and everyone interested in understanding Denmark from an English-speaking perspective.
Printed copies are available at Skovlunde Kulturhus, Kulturhus Måløv, and Ballerup Bibliotek. The newspaper is published every two to three weeks.
When using the library’s computers — or when connecting your own device to the library’s Wi-Fi — you can read everything on cphpost.dk, including articles that are normally behind a paywall. The website is updated daily with news, features, and commentary about Denmark and the world.
The Copenhagen Post is an independent media outlet regulated under the Danish Media Liability Act (Medieansvarsloven) and supported by the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces (Slots- og Kulturstyrelsen) through media subsidies.
Where to find the printed newspapers at your local library
You can find the printed editions of The Copenhagen Post on the first floor of Ballerup Library — to the left of the coffee machine and next to our study rooms.
At Skovlunde Kulturhus and Kulturhus Måløv, The Copenhagen Post is located alongside the daily newspapers.
